Box It 2.

I managed to ask John his opinion on this outcome, as found it an interesting idea. John also put forward what could be produced as addition to this outcome and as part as something i am giving Tudor/employees and not their clients is a very basic part of information in aid to inform/teach how the packaging system works.

I started quickly producing graphic outcomes which is expresses the onlooker the problem, but in the way it would given. It is up to this onlooker to solve it is what is it says, and then once this has been solved they would then give the message. I'm not going to write down what it is they say for you, because that would defeat the whole purpose. Cheats.

Box It.

After finding a book that gives you loads of basic and interesting packaging nets, I found one which would display the information I wanted to show, the right way up. Other nets folded in such a way I would have needed to place, upside down or at 90 degrees cw or ccw. The book seemed ridiculous as did not give any measurements or guidelines, However when you find the CD they provide you at the back of the book your are able to copy a vector based template.

I wanted this outcome to be part product, which would show how it would look to scale, and part giving the information.

Feedback.

This is the feed back I received back from the crit. This feedback was much better than the previous crit as it was mostly more than one word.

Get Out.

This post is really just showing stuff I just needed to get out of my head, Really to get the ball rolling, or in this case box.

I gave myself some rules once I was happy with the direction it was heading.

Once I had the information, or most of it, I could start on the layout of this information. This drove the next part of the design, which was actully having this in two parts..

One part showing what the package would look like
The other part displaying that information.

Print Day

Yes its print day! And now seems there is a lot more off my mind.

I printed all finished artwork once I had my crit. I was really happy with the quality of the print.
Speaking to James is a huge help before printing and to find out what would work well to accompany what it was I wanted to achieve.

I have always wanted to print something on canvas, and my clothes tags was the opportunity. It was a great stock to work with and was really pleased how these have turned out.... I need string now.

I quickly created some stickers as part of my packaging. These would be used to seal the T-shirts in their packaging.
